Fun for the whole family at Ponderosa Campground
While the Campground is quite large, we have tried to maintain an opportunity for you to discover and enjoy nature. We keep as many trees as possible, have lots of room for you to walk or ride a bike, and encourage you to have a safe campfire. A large baseball field along the main road into the park. The campground is patrolled by a security guard at night to keep you safe and to ensure our quiet times are adhered to by all campers.
Sites come equipped with a fire ring and one picnic table.We have both shaded and sunny campsites so you can select the type that best suits your needs (dependant on availability).
We are a family campground. To reserve a campsites, you must be 25 years of age and over. A valid credit card must be used to book sites.
We have 6 camping areas. Sleepy Hollow, Chuck Wagon Circle, and Buffalo Bay are primarily serviced with power, water and sewer hook ups. Rodeo Range, has sites with power, water and sewer or just power and water hook ups Boot Hill is for tents or tent trailers that do not require hook ups. You can enjoy the range of convenience, from a full serviced site (including telephone service if desired for a seasonal campsite), to a wilderness campsite, whichever suites your camping need
These camping facilities house 160 seasonal camping families , about 60 serviced sites and a similar amount of sites without hook ups which we use for our occasional camping friends staying for 1 night or up to a few weeks. Both seasonal and occasional camping families enjoy all the facilities in the park as well as the many summer activities.
